Anne CrossBSW, MSW, FAIM, FAICD
Anne has a career spanning 40 years in health and community services. She is passionate about the wellbeing of people and communities. She has been CEO and board member of UnitingCare Queensland since 2003. She is also Chair of Australian Regional and Remote Community Services (ARRCS Ltd), UnitingCare Queensland’s aged and community services in the Northern Territory.
Prior to joining UnitingCare Queensland Anne has held senior positions in government and non-government organisations across a broad range of community services and has served on various government councils and task groups.
She is the Telstra 2014 Australian Business Woman of the Year. She is a recipient of the 2016 University of Queensland’s Vice Chancellor’s Alumni Excellence Award.
Anne has undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications in social work. She is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management, a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a member of Chief Executive Women. In 2008, Anne was appointed as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Queensland. She is a member of the Queensland divisional council of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
