Ms. Apelt is a business and community leader with a wealth of international senior leadership experience as a diplomat, Trade and Investment Commissioner, CEO and Non Executive Director across the public and private sectors.

Linda Apelt's most recent appointment was the 37th Executive Council appointed Agent-General for Queensland, Australia, in the United Kingdom and the Queensland Trade and Investment Commissioner, Europe, July 2017 until December 2021.

As a former long-serving Director-General with the State Government of Queensland, Ms. Apelt oversaw enhanced service delivery in a range of portfolios including education, housing, health and community services, Indigenous policy and the arts.

In addition, Ms Apelt has been a Company Director on independent boards spanning superannuation, urban planning and research, housing and homelessness, health and welfare, children's and disability services, State library services, Chair of Screen Queensland and a member of the Association of Economic Representatives in London (AERL). Ms Apelt is a member of the Griffith University Council.

In her private capacity, Ms Apelt has lent her expertise and energies to programs which provide philanthropic services for people living with housing disadvantage, disabilities, experiencing domestic violence and young people in the Arts.

Linda Apelt holds a range of post graduate qualifications including a Masters of Education Studies from The University of Queensland and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors

Katie has over 18 years’ Strategy and Marketing experience in senior executive and consultancy roles with retail and fast moving consumer goods companies in Australia, Europe, America and Asia.
She is a member of the University of Tasmania Finance Committee and was awarded a Centenary Medal for Services to Australian Society in 2003. Katie is an accomplished violinist, holding her Performers Diploma from Trinity College (London), and is an active chamber music performer.

Will is a former Assurance Director with PwC specializing in external audit, internal audit and advisory services. He is currently a Non-executive Director of Children’s Health Queensland and RACQ.

Living in regional Queensland, Will is passionate about developing communities and bringing development, support and culture to our regions.

David Gow

David has enjoyed a 30-year career spanning private law practice, corporate legal counsel, and senior management positions in corporate and investment banking. His 19-year career with Citibank included roles in Brisbane, where he was State Manager Corporate, and subsequently in Sydney, Melbourne, Hong Kong and Singapore.

David’s current focus is non-executive directorships and corporate advice. He has previously served on the boards of Citibank Singapore Ltd, PriMed Pty Ltd, University of Queensland Holdings and Qld Children’s Medical Research Institute, and is currently Acting Chairman of Children’s Health Queensland, a Non-executive Director of Elcano Pty Ltd, and is a member of the Advisory Board of Global Life Sciences Capital.

David attended the University of Queensland where he graduated in law and commerce and was admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland in 1983. He is a graduate of the Company Directors course with the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a Fellow of the AICD, and has also completed an executive management course with Wharton/SMU.

Judy is an alumna of the Queensland University of Technology, having studied a Masters of Business in both Human Resources Management and Philanthropy. She is a Director and Trustee of the Mather Foundation, a Private Ancillary Fund which seeks to encourage learning through music and arts, while supporting mental health and well-being. Having worked across the banking, finance and advertising industries, Judy is passionate about supporting the personal development of children and youth by encouraging learning through all forms of music, theatre, and art.

Ms Currie is Queensland born, and a proud Yugambeh woman with traditional ties to the country between the Logan and Tweed Rivers. She has held Senior Executive roles in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander aged care, health, and human service delivery, and is an advocate for improving service accessibility to vulnerable communities. Since attaining her Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Gender Studies in her twenties, Ms Currie embarked on her career in health and human service delivery. She serves as a non-executive Director on the Brisbane North PHN, Hearing Australia.

Patrick Nolan CEO & Artistic Director

Patrick has created productions for Sydney Chamber Opera, Opera Australia, New Zealand Opera, Seattle Opera, Sydney Theatre Company, Belvoir St, Griffin Theatre, Melbourne Theatre Company, and all the major Australian capital city festivals. From 2009 – 2014 he was Artistic Director of Legs On The Wall, creating works that toured Australia, UK, Korea, and Brazil. These included: My Bicycle Loves You for the Sydney and Perth Festivals and The Voyage for the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad.

In 2015 Patrick was awarded an Australia Council Theatre Fellowship to support research into large scale outdoor performance and the relationship between extreme physicality and storytelling. He was also appointed to the NSW / ACT Arts and Health Leadership Group.

As a theatre maker he is driven by a process in which a performer explores the extreme of their capacity to find a way of expressing an idea, a feeling, a sound, that takes the audience to a place of inquiry and perhaps, understanding.
